Both areas have been passions of mine for many years. My clients are law firms and other professionals in the UK, the US, Austria, France, Poland, Lithuania, Belgium and Italy. I also advise major international corporations. I have always worked in an international environment and have been a law firm Partner since 1980.
In the case of professional firms, I help both the firm and its individual members in demystifying Business Development. I provide strategic advice and training in the essential skills to sell more effectively and deepen client relationships. I do not subscribe to the view that in the 21st Century these are "soft" skills. They are integral to generating revenue.
For my law firm clients and other professions, my differentiator compared to some other "consultants” is that I have over 30 years experience as a law firm partner and have therefore a deep understanding of the professional services industry.
I work with senior management so as to understand fully the culture of my clients. My advice and the training and mentoring I undertake is always bespoke. My style of working is both informal and interactive. In all my work, my objective is to share my own experience, to teach best practice and above all to inspire.
